                               Additional Listing


The Company announces that 70,001 new Ordinary Shares of 1p each (the 'New
Ordinary Shares') have been issued and allotted to certain employees following
the exercise of EMI share options.



Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading
on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, and admission is expected to
become effective at 8a.m. on 28 October 2003.
