MITIE Group PLC (MITIE) will today hold its Annual General Meeting at 1200 noon.

Trading Update

MITIE is pleased to confirm that it is performing in line with management
expectations and is well positioned for future growth. Market conditions remain
favourable.

The integration of the Initial Security Limited acquisition is progressing well
and we remain on target to realise the anticipated operational and financial
benefits.

MITIE will announce its interim results, for the half year ending 30 September
2006, on Monday 27 November 2006.
