                       Appointment of Finance Director


MITIE announces that it has today appointed Mr Paul Kilduff as an executive
Director of the Company with the title and responsibilities of Finance
Director.

Mr Kilduff, 47, a Chartered Accountant, is not a director of any other
publicly quoted company and there are no details required to be disclosed
under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the FSA Listing Rules.
