MITIE Group PLC (the 'Company')
The Company has today received notification of the following transactions:
(1) On 5 April 2002 Margaret Elizabeth Jane Telling, spouse of David Malcolm
Telling, Chairman of the Company, gifted to a charitable trust 34,500 of her
ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company, representing 0.01% of the issued
share capital of the Company;
(2) On 6 April 2002 David Malcolm Telling, Chairman of the Company, gifted to
a charitable trust 390,000 of his ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company,
representing 0.14% of the issued share capital of the Company; and
(3) also on 6 April 2002 Margaret Elizabeth Jane Telling gifted to a
charitable trust 42,500 of her ordinary shares of 2.5p each in the Company,
representing 0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.
Following this disposal Mr Telling is interested in 10,118,000 ordinary shares
representing 3.5% of the issued share capital of the Company.
