                            Directors' shareholdings


The Company has today received notification of the following transactions:


(1)    On 9 September 2003 Neville Roger Goodman, a director of the Company,
sold 400,000 ordinary shares of 21/2p each in the Company, at a price of £1.31 
per share, representing 0.13% of the issued share capital of the Company;


(2)    on 9 September 2003 Carol Ann Goodman, spouse of Neville Roger Goodman, 
a director of the Company, sold 6,000 ordinary shares of 21/2p each in the 
Company, at a price of £1.31 per share, representing less than 0.01% of the 
issued share capital of the Company;


(3)    on 9 September 2003 Colin Stewart Acheson, a director of the Company,
sold 241,000 ordinary shares of 21/2p each in the Company, at a price of £1.31 
per share, representing 0.08% of the issued share capital of the Company;


(4)    on 9 September 2003 Heather June Acheson, spouse of Colin Stewart
Acheson, a director of the Company, sold 6,000 ordinary shares of 21/2p each in
the Company, at a price of £1.31 per share, representing less than 0.01% of the
issued share capital of the Company; and


(5)    on 9 September 2003 Colin Stewart Acheson, a director of the Company, 
and his spouse Heather June Acheson jointly sold 3,000 ordinary shares of 21/2p 
each in the Company, at a price of £1.31 per share, representing less than 
0.01% of the issued share capital of the Company.


Following these disposals Mr Goodman is interested in 1,543,213 ordinary shares
representing 0.51% of the issued share capital of the Company and Mr Acheson is
interested in 1,173,100 ordinary shares representing 0.39% of the issued share
capital.
