Resignation of David Telling

Further to the announcement of 25 September 2003, the Board of MITIE announces
that David Telling, after further consideration, decided last Friday, 10 October
2003, to resign as a Non Executive Director of MITIE with immediate effect.
David remains Life President of MITIE.
