The Company was advised today, that on 3 July 2001 the Directors listed below
acquired Ordinary Shares in the Company at a purchase price of £10.20 per
Ordinary Share through the profit sharing Employee Share Ownership Scheme,
which has been approved by the Inland Revenue.  Their previous and current
share holdings, including those held by Related Persons, are as follows:
