The Company was advised today that, on 07/10/2002, the Directors listed below
acquired Ordinary Shares in the Company at a purchase price of £10.525 per
Ordinary Share through a Profit Sharing Employee Share Ownership Scheme, which
has been approved by the Inland Revenue.  Their previous and current share
holdings, including those held by Related Persons, are as follows:
