The Company was advised today that on 16 December 2003 C W McLellan, a Director
of the Company, was involved in the following Share transactions:



 1. The exercise of 22,000 Share Options under the Gleeson Group Executive Share
    Option Scheme at an exercise price of £9.13 per share.



 2. The gift of 13,000 of the Shares so acquired to his spouse, Mrs E J McLellan.



 3. The sale of 4,500 shares held in his own name and 13,000 shares held by his
    spouse at a price of £12.00 per Share.



Mr McLellan's previous and current shareholdings, including those held by
related persons, are as follows:
