DIRECTORS' DEALING - CORRECTION


The following replaces the Directors' Dealing announcement released on 8 August
2005 at 2:31pm under RNS number 8525P.

The following changes have been made to the 'Previous Shareholdings' number and
'Total Now Held' number of A E Collins:

'Previous Shareholdings' has been amended from 37,919 to 34,919
'Total Now Held' has been amended from 34,010 to 35,010

All other details have not been affected and remain the same.  The full amended
announcement appears below and all amendments affected by these changes are
indicated by an asterisk.



The Company was advised today that on 5 August 2005 the Directors listed below
acquired Shares in the Company at a purchase price of £3.21 per Share.  Their
previous and current Share Holdings, including those held by Related Persons,
are as follows:
