Notification of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities

E J Lawrie, Company Secretary, on 13 April 2006 exercised options over 10,500
shares at an option price of £1.38 per share. These options were granted on 20
January 2000 under the Gleeson Group Executive Share option Scheme (1991). On
the same day 3,567 shares were sold by E J Lawrie and a further 3,567 were
transferred to and sold by his wife, in all a total of 7,134 shares.
