Director's share dealing

National Express Group PLC has been notified that Mr Richard Brown exercised
his option on 8 November 2000 over 18,000 shares granted at a price of 495p.
He sold 15,000 of these shares on 9 November 2000 at a price of 818p per
share. Mr Brown retains an interest in 3,000 shares in the Company and has
options over a further 111,502 shares.
