pleased to confirm the appointment of Richard Brown as Group Commercial
Director, with effect from 31 July 1999.  Mr Brown has held no directorships
in any other publicly quoted company at any time in the previous five years. 
There is no details to be disclosed under Section 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the
Listing Rules.
