Directors' Dealings

National Express Group PLC has been notified of the following Directors'
dealings in the Company's shares:

Mr W Rollason, Group Finance Director, has today purchased 3,000 ordinary 5p
shares in the Company at a price of 695p per share.  Prior to this transaction
Mr Rollason did not hold an interest in the Company's shares.

Mr R O'Toole, Chief Operating Officer, has also today purchased 1,500 ordinary
5p shares in the Company at a price of 695p per share.  Mr O'Toole had no
interest in the Company's shares prior to this.

Mr J M B Gibson, non-Executive Director, today purchased 3,000 ordinary 5p
shares in the Company at a price of 695p per share.  Mr Gibson also had no
interest in the Company's shares prior to this transaction.
