National Express Group PLC has today been notified of the following Director's
dealings in the Company's ordinary shares of 5p each:

On 24 February 2005 Adam Walker purchased 4,400 shares for a price of £8.89 in
the joint names of Adam and Yvonne Walker.  This brings his total shareholding
to 9,700 (0.007% of the issued share capital).  Adam also has share options over
171,393 shares.

On 24 February 2005 Ray O'Toole exercised his option over 8,415 shares granted
on 27 April 2000 at an option price of £5.40.  In total under this grant Ray was
awarded 85,000 options of which 76,585 options lapsed in 2003 due to the
earnings per share performance conditions not being met.  Ray sold 5,132 shares
at a price of £8.88 and retained 3,283 shares.  On 25 February 2005 Ray
purchased a further 1,000 shares for a price of £8.875.  These two transactions
bring his total shareholding to 18,783. (0.013% of the issued share capital).
Ray has options over a further 273,977 shares.

On 25 February 2005 Phil White exercised his option over 12,870 shares granted
on 27 April 2000 at an option price of £5.40.  In total under this grant Phil
was awarded 130,000 options of which 117,130 options lapsed in 2003 due to the
earnings per share performance conditions not being met.  Phil sold all of the
12,870 shares at a price of £8.875.  Phil's current shareholding is 165,408
(0.12% of the issued share capital) and he has options over a further 404,681
shares.
