National Express Group PLC (the 'Company') announces that the following grants of forfeitable ordinary shares of 5 pence each under the National Express Group Executive Deferred Bonus Plan (the 'Plan') were made to the under-mentioned directors on 28 February 2013:

Jez Maiden	62,981

In both instances, no consideration was paid for the grant of the awards and no consideration is due on the vesting of the awards.  Awards will normally vest on the first anniversary of the date of grant subject to continued employment, at which point the award will no longer be forfeitable.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a).
