Further to the announcement on 19 September 2000 that the offer for Prism Rail
PLC by National Express has been declared unconditional in all respects, Prism
Rail PLC received notification on 20 September 2000 from CGNU plc that:

Norwich Union Investment Management Limited, a subsidiary of CGNU plc, no
longer have a notifiable interest in the shares of Prism Rail PLC; and

CGNU plc no longer have a notifiable interest in the shares of Prism Rail PLC.
