Stewart Airport - Update on disposal



National Express Group PLC is pleased to note the announcement by the Port
Authority of New York and New Jersey Board Commissioners that they have
approved the purchase of the operating lease at Stewart International Airport,
New York State for $78.5 million.


These negotiations for the sale, which began shortly before Christmas, are
expected to be completed soon.  The transaction will ultimately be subject to
final agreement of the Purchase Agreement and certain regulatory approvals.


A further announcement will be made in due course when all conditions have been
met.
