Mobile Streams Plc - Trading Statement
Mobile Streams Plc ('Mobile Streams' or 'the Company') is pleased to provide an
update to shareholders ahead of the release of its maiden full year results,
which will be announced on 20 March 2007. Highlights include:
- Revenues expected to be ahead of market estimates after strong growth
in the second half
- Result before tax expected to be in line with market estimates
- Strong performance in all regions, particularly Latin America and North
America, where revenues have approximately doubled
- Profitability achieved at the EBITDA level every month since August
2006
- Cash balance at 31 December 2006 of not less than £3.5 million.
The majority of Mobile Streams' top line growth in the year came from
partnerships with mobile network operators. Additionally, 2006 saw the first
revenues from platform sales of Vuesia, a proprietary platform which simplifies
the complexities of mobile content.
The three acquisitions that Mobile Streams made in 2006 are already well
integrated, and have performed in line with management expectations. Following
these acquisitions, Mobile Streams has a physical presence in 10 countries,
giving the Company reach into every major geographical region worldwide. Each
of these businesses operates according to a global strategy with local
implementation, underpinned by a single global technical platform, Vuesia.
Mobile Streams continues to benefit from its strategic relationship with Liberty
Media, and relationships have already been developed with a number of Liberty
affiliates.
As the mobile media market evolves, Mobile Streams is seeing additional new
opportunities in areas such as made for mobile content and consumer marketing.
Given the successful investments made in 2006, Mobile Streams is well positioned
to benefit from these opportunities and management looks with confidence to 2007
and beyond.
