Indian Contract Win
Mobile Tornado Group plc the instant mobile messaging service provider
specialising in Push-To-Talk services ('PTT') today announces its largest-ever
contract win. The multi-million dollar order, for a potential 1 million user
licences, is for the Indian mobile market and has been placed by Terracomm.
Terracomm Teleservices Pvt Limited is an Indian sub-contractor to the Indian
state procurement company ITI, who in turn is supplying BSNL, the large
state-owned telecommunications operator.
Under the terms of the deal, Mobile Tornado is responsible for supplying
software licences to its patented IPRS Push-to-Talk technology platform, as well
as procuring the associated third party hardware and software with which IPRS
works. Mobile Tornado will also provide professional services to help install
and configure the system in BSNL's network.
Delivery of the first phase, a 200,000 user system, has already commenced with
additional licences to be added as the market grows.

Push-to-Talk client software to Motorola phones using Motorola Push-to-Talk
