Mobistar renews its mobile network:
greater coverage, lower consumption,
and future-proof technology !
Brussels, 8 September 2011 - This month, Mobistar begins upgrading its mobile
network. The company will be investing a total of 36 million euros to install
higher-performance and more economical equipment throughout its network over the
next two years. This will generate significant benefits not only for customers,
who will enjoy better indoor coverage, but also for the environment, thanks to a
fifty percent reduction in energy consumption. And the icing on the cake: this
investment will prepare Mobistar for the arrival of LTE technology.
