                        Investors / Analysts Site Visit

Mentmore plc ('Mentmore' or the 'Group') announces that it is holding site
visits today for institutional investors and analysts at one of the facilities
acquired as part of the acquisition of Hays Information Management Services
('Hays IMS').

The current financial year has seen the restructuring of the Group to focus on
personal storage and records management which both have strong market positions
and good growth prospects. Iron Mountain Europe Limited ('IME'), Mentmore's
European records management joint venture, acquired the European business of
Hays IMS from Hays plc in July 2003.

At the Annual General Meeting, held in August 2003, the Group stated that it was
encouraged by the progress being made to integrate the Hays IMS acquisition and
was confident of the outlook and prospects for the Group. This continues to be
the case.

The visit will include a tour of the site, as well as presentations on IME and
Personal Storage, providing an update on growth strategy and prospects. No
material new financial information will be disclosed. The Group will issue a
trading update around the time of the six month period ending 31 October 2003.
