On 22 December 2003, Mentmore announced it had received an approach that may or
may not lead to an offer being made for the Company.

Since that date the Company has received a number of other approaches which the
Board and Bridgewell Ltd, the Company's Financial Adviser, are evaluating.

There can be no certainty that any of these approaches will lead to an offer
being made for the Company. Shareholders will be informed of developments as
appropriate.
