Board Changes



Following the announcement on 22 January 2007 that the Offer by Elderstreet VCT
plc for Elderstreet Millennium Venture Capital Trust plc ('the Company') has
been declared unconditional in all respects and in accordance with the
announcement on 29 November 2006, the Company is pleased to announce that Hugh
Aldous has joined the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.



Hugh is a partner of RSM Robson Rhodes LLP and also chairman of The Eastern
European Trust plc and a director of Henderson TR Pacific Investment Trust plc,
Innospec Inc. (NASDAQ) and a number of other companies, including Smart
Education Limited.   He has also been a member of the Competition Commission.



Other than as disclosed above, there are no further disclosures required under
Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Hugh's appointment.
