Elderstreet VCT plc announces that, on 4 June 2008, the Company
purchased 25,562 C Shares of 5p each for cancellation representing
approximately 1.69% of the issued C Share capital at a price of 78.5p
per share.

Following the above purchase and cancellation, the Company has
20,772,595 Ordinary Shares and 1,488,078 C Shares in issue.
