Midas Income & Growth Trust PLC (the "Company")

In accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the warrant deed poll dated 3 April 1996 constituting the warrants issued by the Company conferring rights to subscribe for Ordinary shares in the Company ("Warrants"), the final date for exercising these subscription rights conferred by the Warrants is 31 August 2010.  Holders of Warrants are hereby notified that the notice period required under Listing Rule 5.2.8 in respect of the cancellation of the listing of the Warrants has now commenced and it is expected that such cancellation will take effect at 8.00 a.m. on 1 September 2010.
