Appointment of Bruce Carnegie-Brown - 15 April 2010
Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC, the UK's leading price comparison website, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Carnegie-Brown as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown, 50, has been a non-executive director of Close Brothers Group plc since June 2006 where he is the senior independent director and chairs its Remuneration Committee. Between January 2007 and June 2009, Bruce was managing partner of 3i Quoted Private Equity and a member of the 3i Group's executive committee and between February 2008 and June 2009 he was a non-executive director of Jelf Group plc. Between June 2003 and June 2006, he was chief executive officer of Marsh Limited and head of Marsh's European operations. Prior to that, Bruce spent 18 years at JP Morgan in a variety of roles including chairman of JP Morgan Securities Asia and head of debt capital markets in Europe and Asia.
Announcing the appointment, Gerald Corbett, Chairman of Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC, said: "We are delighted that Bruce has agreed to join the board as a non-executive director. With his strategic skills and his experience of the financial services sector, he will be a valuable addition to the board."
There are no other details to disclose under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in relation to Mr Carnegie-Brown.
