The Monks Investment Trust PLC

New Borrowings and Interest Rate Swap

Today the Company has drawn down a new £40m one year variable rate loan facility at 3 month LIBOR plus 1.35%.

To lock in to what are seen as low levels of long-term interest rates, the Company has also entered into a £40m 30 year interest rate swap agreement taking the overall rate of the new borrowings to around 5.4%
