ON 27 JANUARY 2000, THE COMPANY PURCHASED FOR CANCELLATION 260,000 ORDINARY
SHARES AT A PRICE OF 940.00P PER ORDINARY SHARE, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF
SHARES BOUGHT BACK TO 6,130,000. THERE REMAINS 71,462,000 SHARES IN ISSUE.
