ON 13 JULY 2000, THE COMPANY PURCHASED FOR CANCELLATION 700,000 ORDINARY
SHARES AT A PRICE OF £10.60, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SHARES BOUGHT BACK
TO 12,083,130. THERE REMAINS 65,508,870 SHARES IN ISSUE.
