ON 10 JULY 2000, THE COMPANY PURCHASED FOR CANCELLATION 50,000 ORDINARY SHARES
AT A PRICE OF £10.53, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF SHARES BOUGHT BACK TO
11,383,130. THERE REMAINS 66,208,870 SHARES IN ISSUE.
