In conformity with the Transparency Directive the Company would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 1 August 2018 the Company's issued share capital consisted of 167,379,790 Ordinary Shares of 2 pence each with voting rights. No shares are held in treasury.

The above figure (167,379,790) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC, under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
