Board changes
Morgan Advanced Materials plc ("the Company") today announces interim arrangements to be put in place when Mark Robertshaw steps down as Chief Executive Officer on 31st December 2014. It also announces that Andrew Given is stepping down as a Board Director.
It was announced on 29th September 2014 that Mark Robertshaw will step down as Chief Executive Officer. The Board's process of selecting a successor is progressing well with consideration being given to both external and internal candidates.
Mark Robertshaw will therefore leave the Company at the end of the year with Kevin Dangerfield, currently Chief Financial Officer, taking responsibility as Interim CEO from 1st January 2015, until a new CEO is in place. Kevin will be supported by Andrew Hosty who continues as Chief Operating Officer.
The Board also announces that Andrew Given will step down from the Board on 31st December, 2014, after seven years as a Non- Executive Director - firstly as Chairman of the Audit Committee, and latterly as Senior Independent Director. Douglas Caster, who has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company since February 2014, will assume the role of Senior Independent Director.
