                   Morgan Crucible UK Site Visit for Analysts

The Morgan Crucible Company plc, the specialist materials technology company, 
is hosting a visit today at its Technical Ceramics site in Rugby, UK. The visit
will entail presentations by Morgan Crucible's Chief Executive Officer,
Technical Ceramics' divisional management and a guided tour around the Rugby
facility.

No material new information will be disclosed in the presentations, nor will
