Morgan Sindall appointed to £100 million construction framework in Milton Keynes
Morgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that Morgan Sindall, its construction and infrastructure division, has been reappointed by Milton Keynes Council to its framework for major building works.
The three-year framework, with a possible one-year extension, has a total anticipated spend of up to £100 million. Morgan Sindall will compete with two other contractors on both Lot 1 (projects over £2.5 million) and Lot 2 (projects ranging from £350,000 up to £2.5 million) of the framework.
The framework projects will include new-build and refurbishment schemes in education and general community buildings.
Morgan Sindall's selection follows its recent appointment to the Smarte East Alliance Framework in the East of England, where it will be competing in two of the three lots that cover a £500 million programme of public building works over the next four years.
Paul Smith, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc, said:
"We are delighted to be reappointed to this framework, affirming our ability to consistently deliver a range of high quality construction projects. Frameworks continue to be important as robust, longer-term sources of projects.
"We are looking forward to continuing our work with Milton Keynes Council as we continue to build our presence across the East of England."
