AGM Statement
John Morgan, Chairman of Morgan Sindall plc, made the following comments on
the current trading at the Group's Annual General Meeting held today:
'The first quarter of the year has started well. Our order book continues to
be strong and at the end of the first quarter turnover has risen by 28% when
compared to last year. As a whole the Group is performing in line with our
expectations.
I reported in my Chairman's statement that 2001 could better the performance
of our record 2000. This remains my view.'
