Appointment as development manager to c£650m Slough scheme
Morgan Sindall Group plc (the 'Group'), the UK construction and regeneration group, announces that its urban regeneration division has been appointed as development manager for the North West Quadrant development in Slough, with an estimated gross development value of c.£650m.
The North West Quadrant development is part of the Slough Urban Renewal scheme, an existing joint venture regeneration partnership between Slough Borough Council and the Group's Investments division and is expected to bring forward plans to provide 1,400 new homes across a range of tenures, more than 250,000 sq ft of commercial space, 45,000 sq ft of ancillary leisure and retail, alongside 150,000 sq ft of cultural facilities and extensive public realm. Slough's town centre redevelopment is one of the UK's largest programmes of regeneration.
