Changes to the Board of Directors

Board Appointments


Morgan Sindall plc, the specialist construction group, comprising
fit out, regional construction and affordable housing, today
announces the following Board changes.

With effect from the Company's AGM on 11 April 2000, John Morgan,
currently Chief Executive, will take on the role as Executive
Chairman. Andy Stoddart, currently Operations Director, will
assume the position of Managing Director.

Sir Derek Hornby will retire as Non-Executive Chairman. He will
remain as a non-executive director of the Group.

These changes reflect the need to ensure separate focus on
strategic and operational issues as the Group develops.
