Morgan Sindall JV awarded Dorset Emergency Services Partnership Initiative PFI
Construction and urban regeneration group Morgan Sindall plc announces that as
part of the Partnership for Fire Limited (Pff), a joint venture between Morgan
Sindall Investments, Calderpeel Carden Croft and Barclays European
Infrastructure Fund, it has achieved financial close on the Dorset Emergency
Services Partnership Initiative (DESPI) PFI project.
Pff has signed a 25 year project agreement with Dorset Fire Authority and Dorset
Police Authority to design, build, finance and operate a number of new fire and
emergency services facilities in Dorset. Pff will provide two new fire stations
and a new joint police divisional and fire area headquarters in Poole and a
second fire service area headquarters in Dorchester. Bluestone (soon to be
renamed Morgan Ashurst), Morgan Sindall's construction business, will design and
build these new facilities with construction of the accommodation due to start
immediately. The anticipated value of construction works is approximately £46
million over two years.

in the emergency services accommodation market and demonstrates our long term
