MORGAN ASHURST WINS £28M HEATHROW T3 DEVELOPMENT
Morgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, announces today that Morgan Ashurst, its construction division has been selected by BAA to deliver a portfolio of preconstruction services at Terminal 3 (T3) in Heathrow Airport. The contract value is over £28 million.
The programme of work, scheduled for completion by the summer of 2009, includes refurbishing Pier 7, installing security segregation on Pier 7 and converting current gate rooms into a crew lounge for Virgin Atlantic Airways' employees. Morgan Ashurst will also upgrade Pier 5, refurbish the check-in area of T3 and facilitate airline relocation within the T3 building.
