Morgan Sindall secures framework contract with Welsh Water
Morgan Sindall, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that its infrastructure services division Morgan Est, has been retained as a Capital Delivery partner by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water for the Asset Management Period (AMP5). Work will commence on 1 April 2010.
The five-year framework will involve design and build works for both clean and wastewater programmes throughout south Wales. The works follow on from the AMP4 programme, where Morgan Est successfully delivered a £130 million wastewater capital programme in south east Wales. Morgan Est is currently delivering Welsh Water's Advanced Digestion programme valued at £75 million.
