                          Analyst site visit to Scotland



Morgan Sindall Plc is holding an analyst visit at two of its Affordable Housing
sites in Scotland today, Wednesday 1 October 2003.



The purpose of the visit is to provide analysts with the opportunity to enhance
their understanding of Morgan Sindall Plc, particularly its Affordable Housing
division, its strategy going forward, and to meet additional members of the
operational management team.



During the visit a presentation will be made covering the Group's strategy and
developments in each of the Group's divisions. A further presentation will also
be made on the Group's Affordable Housing business, Lovell, highlighting the
leading market position Lovell has built up. These presentations will be
available on Morgan Sindall's website following the visit.



Current trading



Progress continues to be made in all of the Group's divisions with current
trading in line with the trends identified in the Group's Interim Statement
published on 11 August 2003. Overall, the Group remains confident of making
continued progress and achieving a satisfactory result in the current year.



During the analyst visit no further new trading information will be disclosed.
