Production reinstated at Duff-2
Mosman Oil and Gas Limited (AIM: MSMN) the oil exploration, development, and production company, announces the Duff-2 well at the Greater Stanley project is back on production.
The Duff-2 well is now back in production following completion of the workover which was required due to a broken rod, caused by a stuck pump. The pump and a broken rod have now been replaced. Whilst production is only circa 5 bopd, it is sufficient for the Duff lease to be "Held By Production" to allow other development options to be matured.
At Duff-3, a workover to increase production has now been completed. A segment of broken cable was recovered, but the rest of the cable could not be recovered and was pushed down the well to clear the perforated zone. The well will be put back on production once surface electrical upgrades are completed.
John W Barr, Chairman of Mosman commented : "Whilst the recent focus has been getting the Falcon-1 well on production, work continues on the other production areas with production being optimized with low cost workovers. The team has identified additional development opportunities at Greater Stanley which work will commence next year."
