Mothercare plc announces that the under-mentioned Directors and /or
persons discharging managerial responsibilities are participating in
the Mothercare plc 2005 Save as You Earn Share Option Scheme under
which options were awarded on 28 December 2007 under a three year
savings contract. The option price per share is 284 pence.
