Executive Incentive Scheme (EIP) awards, 2008 cycle
During the three year performance period to 26 March 2011, Mothercare's total
shareholder return outperformed the FTSE General Retailers index by 38.29%.
As the performance condition was met Mothercare plc therefore announces an issue
of options under the above scheme. Â The scheme was approved by shareholders in
July 2006. Â Full detail in respect of the operation of the scheme is set out in
the Mothercare plc Annual Report and Accounts, 2011.
Executive Incentive Plan
Under the rules of the Executive Incentive Plan for this award, the award can be
paid in full in cash, or up to 50% paid in nil cost share options. Â The
Remuneration Committee has determined that the maximum 50% will be paid in nil
cost share options and should be awarded to the scheme participants as listed
below. Â These share options will be exercisable by each of the participants with
effect from 6 June 2012.
