                          Announcement of Board Change
                   Garry Knowles appointed Managing Director

The board of betinternet, the global on-line gaming group, who earlier today
announced that Paul Doona, its Managing Director, was to stand down from the
board at the conclusion of the annual general meeting on 22 December, 2005 is
pleased to announce the appointment of Garry Richard Knowles as managing
director with effect from that date.

Garry, who is 39, was appointed to the board in June as sportsbook director,
having joined the company in November 2003 as head of trading operations. He was
previously customer relations director for international casino group MGM Mirage
and prior to that worked at bookmakers William Hill for 15 years.

Chairman Denham Eke said, 'I am delighted that Garry has accepted the board's
invitation to lead the group during what we anticipate will be a period of
exciting development as we introduce a new platform and prepare to accept wagers
from US customers. Garry has been instrumental in piloting the group through
what has been a difficult transition period. He has increased margins as well as
providing a more comprehensive platform including the introduction of casino
games to the website and a new skill-based internet football game. I am
confident shareholders will soon be rewarded by the improved focus and
efficiency he has put in progress.'

Garry Knowles said, 'I am very pleased to take on the role of managing director.
I am confident that, with the arrival of our new sportsbook platform and the
move into the US market, we can achieve a substantial improvement in results. In
addition, I believe we now have all the ingredients in place to take advantage
of the unique platform offered by European Wagering Services in pari-mutuel
betting.'
