Appointment of Interim CFO

Mothercare plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominic Lavelle as Interim CFO.  Dominic will join Mothercare on 9 July and take up the CFO role on Monday 23 July, but will not be joining the Board.  Neil Harrington, whose resignation as CFO has already been announced, will be leaving Mothercare plc on 20 July 2012.

Commenting on the appointment Simon Calver, CEO said "I am delighted that Dominic is joining the executive team as Interim CFO.  Dominic's experience as the finance director of public companies in turnaround situations will be a real asset to Mothercare at this early and critical stage of the transformation and growth plan.  I would like to thank Neil Harrington for his seven years of service with Mothercare and wish him all the best in his future career."
