Mothercare announces resignation of Chief Financial Officer
Mothercare plc announces that Matt Smith has given notice of his resignation as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. Under the terms of his service agreement Matt Smith has a notice period of 12 months and will remain with Mothercare until a successor has been appointed and an appropriate transition has taken place. The Company will commence a search for a new CFO immediately.
Mark Newton-Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Mothercare plc, commented: "Matt has strengthened Mothercare's financial position during his time with the company and is leaving the business in good shape. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him well in the future."
