Notification of Major Interests In Shares

Mothercare plc announces that, in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it has been advised by Financiere De L'Echiquier, that its notifiable interest in the voting rights of Mothercare plc has decreased and crossed down through the 4% threshold. The interest now comprises 3,496,800 ordinary 50p shares or 3.9450% of the company's voting rights.
