Mothercare plc announces that FMR LLC (on behalf of Fidelity Management &
Research Company and other associated companies) has increased its shareholding
in Mothercare plc.

FMC LLC now hold 4,451,332 Mothercare ordinary shares, equivalent to 5.05% of
Mothercare’s total voting rights.
